We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a return or exchange after 30 days.
Eligibility for Returns: To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. The same condition means that the item and its packaging must be free from any types of damage or wear that would make the item ineligible for resale. For example, light fixtures must be returned unused and never having been installed. Any returns of used or previously installed items will be refused and not refunded.
Return Process:
- To start a return, please contact us at hello@silkandsand.shop. Include your order number, the item number of the return, and the reason for your request.
- We will get back to you within 1-2 business days and issue a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number for your return.
- Once the RGA # is issued, we will provide you with return shipping instructions.
- Send the product(s) back to us.
- Once received, we will process the return and credit the method that was used to make the purchase within a couple of days. Financial institutions often take a few days to process a return.
Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
No Restocking Fee: We do not charge restocking fees on items eligible for return.
Return Shipping Not Included: For returns, the customer is responsible for all return shipping charges. If the item is being returned because of a manufacturer defect, some exceptions may apply. If the item is damaged during the return, it will be the customer's responsibility to file a claim with their carrier.

Damages and Issues: Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 7 days of receipt if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please call us at (912) 352-4355 or email hello@silkandsand.shop. Please include pictures of the damaged/defective item in your email, as this will speed up the replacement process.
Refunds: We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
