A Note From Our Founder

Silk & Sand began as a natural evolution of something I have believed for years — that the spaces we create around us shape the way we live within them.

For decades through Pace Lighting & Home, I’ve had the privilege of helping families build and renovate their homes — guiding selections that quite literally illuminate their lives. Over time, I began to notice something. The lighting was intentional. The architecture was thoughtful. But the finishing layers — the pieces that soften a room, add warmth, and tell a story — often felt like an afterthought.

Silk & Sand was created to complete that story.

Inspired by Savannah’s quiet elegance and the relaxed refinement of the Lowcountry, this brand reflects a softer, more collected approach to home. The muted palette of oyster shell and sea glass. The glow of lamplight against aged brick. The balance of history and modern ease. Beauty that feels lived in, not staged.

Every piece we curate — whether décor, accessories, lighting, or fans — must meet a simple standard: it should feel timeless, grounded, and effortlessly elevated. Nothing overly ornate. Nothing trendy for trend’s sake (but we don't mind a little fun!). Only pieces that layer gracefully into a home and remain meaningful long after the season changes.
